dudes, the baby is coming

this is a guest post courtesy of john. you might remember me from such events as "oh crap, nate missed another flight", "who's that idiot following nate around europe", and "how does this kid eat without a job. right. he's 25 and still lives with his parents".

i'm the second half of the nate/john combo. the robin to his batman, bert to his ernie, the posh to his becks. as you can tell, nate's a much more talent writer than me. i've already failed miserably at this post.

the whole point of this was to let you know that cherry ann is in labor. it started about 1 am last night when she felt like 'her butt fell off". nate got the call earlier this morning and is en route to redding, ca. he has to transfer 3 times i think so he won't arrive until 4:34 pacific time.

i'll keep everyone update as i am. check back periodically or add open skate with nate to your google reader (it's the best way to do it).
