and madness ensued. Maybe I'm being melodramatic, but I will never understand why women insist on inhaling Jack's toes deep into their nostrils and squealing with delight. I find it terribly troublesome. Thankfully, so does the godfather. Too bad he left me today.

I'm a growing boy

I'm back in Illinois, and against all odds, nothing has changed.

It's good to be back so far, but I admit that Jack is growing up very fast and I miss him already. He's almost busting out of his jammies. Cherry Ann shared some pictures with me of Jackson while my mom was visiting and some archived Jackson pics. I hope you can see them, there are some really good ones in there. I would post the pictures individually, but I can't download the files to my PC and I wasn't the one who posted them.

It kills me to be away

from my family, especially around the holidays. The pain was especially great on Christmas day for sentimental, as well as practical, reasons. Alas, I did have the joy of Cherry Ann's family and Jackson's first Christmas to keep me warm.

It also kills me to be away from the blog which I used to consider a work of art. Someday, I hope to restore it to its past glory.

In the meantime, please enjoy Jackson's newest albums. He has dominated the blog as of late, and for good reason. I have plans to give him his own blog, but you know what they say about good intentions... actually, I have no idea what they say about those.
